You can apply if you have:
B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing, OR
GNM + 2 years clinical experience in a minimum 50-bed hospital
ANDYou must be a Registered Nurse & Midwife with a valid State/Indian Nursing Council registration.
General Category: 18–30 years
Age relaxation is available for OBC, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen as per government norms.
NORCET consists of two stages:
Stage I – Prelims:
100 MCQs (80 Nursing + 20 Aptitude/GK)
90 minutes
Negative marking: –⅓
Stage II – Mains:
Nursing domain MCQs
Marks from this stage decide final merit.

Prelims is only a qualifying round.
Final selection depends entirely on your Mains score (merit-based).
