AIIMS NORCET (Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test) is a national-level recruitment examination conducted by AIIMS Exams for the recruitment of Nursing Officers across various AIIMS institutions and participating central government hospitals in India. The NORCET examination is conducted in two stages:
- Stage I – Preliminary Examination (Qualifying)

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following eligibility conditions:
Option 1
- B.Sc. Nursing (Hons.) / B.Sc. Nursing from an INC or State Nursing Council recognized institute or university
- Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council
Option 2
- Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute/university
- Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council
Option 3
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM)
- Registered as Nurse & Midwife
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a 50-bedded hospital after registration
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and other reserved categories as per Government of India norms.

AIIMS NORCET is conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and consists of two stages.
